A Network Marketing Opportunity With “No Selling”? Don’t Believe It

I owe a lot of my financial success to the network marketing industry. But there is something I really don’t like about the industry and that is all the misleading claims that are made by the companies and reps promoting them. One of the most common claims is that you can join and make money with no selling. So many of them are making this claim even though selling is EXACTLY what you would be doing.Now don’t get me wrong, the ability to sell is one of the most powerful skills you can have in business. Network marketing is an excellent opportunity for those who are good at sales and marketing. It’s also a great vehicle for people who want to learn sales and marketing. Not only that but it can also teach you leadership and other skills that can be priceless in your business and personal life.The problem is most people don’t like to sell, they are not good at selling and they don’t want to learn to sell. Most just want to make money. Many network marketers know this so in order to recruit the masses they claim that they won’t have to sell. There are all kinds of ways they make these claims like, we do the selling for you or the system does the selling. Although some of these things do help, when it comes down to it you are going to have to do the selling. Not only that but after you make the sale that’s when it’s time to be a leader. And that’s a skill most people don’t have.So if you want to get involved great, just be prepared to do a lot of selling. There are ways to make the selling easier there are also ways of finding people to recruit who do want to sell so you don’t have to mislead them in order to recruit them. I have tips on how to do this on my website. If you don’t want to sell then network marketing is probably the wrong opportunity for you. Internet marketing is probably the most popular alternative to network marketing but it still involves becoming good at sales and marketing, Most work or make money online opportunities being advertised are either network marketing or internet marketing. No matter how the sales pitches are worded the catch is almost always that you have to sell something in order for it to work.There are other opportunities that don’t involve selling but since the money isn’t made by selling the opportunities there isn’t much reason for people to advertise the opportunities.
